Frid 11th, Camp 28
Day opens with a heavy discharge of rain. The action continuing all day, even the darkness of the night is not sufficient to put an end to the conflict of elements. A short march of 4 miles brings us up to the main body of the army where we camp. Yesterday we passed through the SW corner of Cristian Co, striking the head of Bear Creek. We are now in Taney Co, 6 miles from Forsyth.
