Mond 21, Camp 31

    Aroused by reveille at 4, on the march at 6 1/2 O'clock. We passed over the mountain which gave us a fine view of surrounding country. Mountain peaks and wooded valleys are scattered in every direction. The elm and maple are opening their buds and the red bud & dogwood are in full bloom. marched 18 miles. Passed through a beautiful fine region in the southern part of Christian County. Day pleasant.
