    Morning clear and pleasant. Teams out foraging again. order from Secy of War read ordering the offering of prayer and thanksgiving to God for our recent victories. Was detailed by Col. Vandever to fill the place of Chap, A.B. Kendig having resigned. Read 35 verses IXXXIX Psalm and offered prayer.
