    Public prayer near the center of the color line this morning. West to town purchased a suit clothes for 15.00. The last of the drowned dragoons taken out today. Rumor that Jeff Davis has ordered a suspension of hostilities. Provost Marshall's office crowded with citizens taking the oath of allegiance. 

    HR Wilcox of Co T reported dead by the surgeon at Forsyth. Governor Rector declares that the Confederacy have seceded from Ark.
