    In compliance with an order previously issued the reg was put through a general muster. All absentees without cause are to be treated as deserters, officers as well as privates, thus cutting off many who are drawing pay without doing service. Officers who are unfit for duty are to be discharged and their places to be filled by efficient men. Those permanently disabled by wounds to receive a pension.
