    A heavy detachment from the Brigade have gone on a secret expedition. Another foraging party, returned loaded. Bridges over Sick and Big creeks burned. Mr. Blunt, citizen placed under arrest. It was unfortunate that he was in camp selling vegetables when the troops moved. His children sick, property burned. He has been several times under arrest, first by union then by secesh. Wrote to Mother.
