    Pleasant day. Wrote letter home and this entry closes the labors of the week. Time waits not for dilatory man, but rushes on with wonderous speed toward the ocean of eternity. The grave is opening to receive us but we perceive it not more easily than hidden danger in a thick undergrowth. Holy Spirit, help! Jesus, savior, help. Father Almighty help, make us wise, make us prudent.
